Speed Week is the Southern California Timing Association's annual land speed meet on the Bonneville Salt Flats, where hundreds of cars and motorcycles chase records on the salt. It has run since 1949, though it has been cancelled in some years when the salt was too wet or thin.
The 2026 meet was permitted for 27 July to 8 August. 2027 dates haven't been announced yet.
