New Zealand's biggest rock 'n' roll and classic car festival in the Coromandel beach town.

The Repco Beach Hop turns the Coromandel beach town of Whangamatā into a five-day festival of rock 'n' roll and classic American cars. Hot rods, muscle cars and pre-1970s classics cruise the main street, with live bands, a swap meet and vintage fashion.

Listings give the 2027 dates as 17 to 21 March. The 2026 event ran from 25 to 29 March.
